Safari Merchandise
Only Safari-branded merchandise may be worn during Safari classes. Products from outside brands are not permitted.
Required Equipment After 8 Weeks
After completing the beginner’s course or 8 weeks of training, you are required to purchase Safari ankle supports, hand wraps, gloves, and focus pads. This ensures safety when contact is permitted.
Equipment Ordering
All equipment must be ordered through our online store: Safari MMA – Bringing unity to Martial Arts.
Payment Policy
Payments for classes must be made through our online booking system before attending. We operate as a cashless company — no payments will be accepted on-site.
Booking for Classes
You must book your place in advance to attend. Classes have maximum capacity, and if you do not book, you may not be permitted entry.
Arrival Time
Please arrive 10 minutes before your class starts. Late arrivals may not be allowed to join for safety reasons.
Jewellery Policy
For safety, no jewellery may be worn during training. If you cannot remove an item, it must be securely covered with a plaster, which you are responsible for bringing.
Respectful Behaviour

Remain silent while the instructor is speaking — instructions are given for your safety.

Show respect to fellow students and instructors at all times.

Foul language or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
We reserve the right to decline entry without a refund.
Insurance & Membership
After your first trial class or 8-week course, you are required to purchase Safari MMA Insurance to continue training.
A 3-month insurance option is available for new students who wish to continue training short-term or are still deciding on a longer commitment. After the initial 3 months, this will automatically renew into annual insurance with a licence unless cancelled before renewal.
If you plan to grade, please note that:

Grading can only take place if you hold annual insurance.

You must also have a valid and active membership that continues beyond the grading date.

Students on the 3-month insurance or 8-week beginner course cannot grade unless they upgrade to an annual insurance and ongoing membership.
Your first white belt grading is included with the annual insurance. No refunds are issued if you choose not to grade, as the insurance remains valid.
Injury Reporting
If you sustain an injury during class, inform the instructor immediately or contact our Admin team within 12 hours.

Missed Classes & Refunds

Refunds will not be provided for missed training.

Payment dates cannot be altered or carried over.

Deposits for new courses or day passes are refundable up to 48 hours before the course begins. After this point, no refunds are possible.
Direct Debit Policy

All memberships are paid via direct debit.

Your direct debit is set up from your first payment.

28 days’ notice is required to cancel a regular membership. You must inform our payments team in writing (email, WhatsApp, or text).

Cancelling directly with your bank will result in arrears, as our system will still attempt collection.

We reserve the right to reassign your place if payments are stopped incorrectly.
Continuing After the 8-Week Beginner Course

Your direct debit has been set up to continue automatically 8 weeks after your start date.

If you do not wish to continue after your beginner course, you must notify us directly via WhatsApp (07880 550011) at least 14 days in advance.

Payments will automatically be debited after this period. Once processed, these payments cannot be refunded.

The 14-day notice applies only to the beginner course. For ongoing memberships, 28 days’ notice is required.
Membership Freeze Option

If you need to pause your training, you can freeze your membership for £10 per month.

28 days’ notice is required to activate a freeze.

No refunds will be issued without proper notice.
Personal Belongings
All belongings are your own responsibility. Safari Kickboxing is not liable for lost or missing items.
Grading Information

Gradings may take place up to 4 times a year at your training location.

You may spectate or train at another location during grading weeks.

Missed gradings cannot be carried over or refunded.
Bank Holidays & Christmas
Bank holidays and Christmas holidays are built into your membership price. These sessions are not considered missed and will not be refunded or carried over.
